as a whiplash her words
stroke my heart.
“your mind is disgusting”, she yelled.
the anger in her voice filled up the room.
the thoughts in my head,
contracted, grew smaller…
her words suffocated me
“you are such a piece of …”, she said, but never finished.
“I know I am”, I said.
in silence, my disgusting mind,
loved her so much.
I drowned and prematurely died on the spot
